our history

A Tradition of Service and Care

Our story begins in 1936 with the Sisters of the Divine Redeemer, who established Little Flower Manor as a sanctuary for those in need. Initially a home for orphaned children, our mission evolved to serve vulnerable seniors, providing shelter, heartfelt companionship, and genuine kindness. The Sisters built a foundation of mercy and respect, creating a safe, welcoming environment where every individual felt valued.

In 2017, Little Flower Manor integrated with Redeemer Health, marking a meaningful new chapter in our history. Redeemer Health's legacy is rooted in the values of The Sisters of the Holy Redeemer—now known as The Sisters of The Redeemer—which beautifully complement the founding spirit of The Sisters of the Divine Redeemer. Both congregations have long championed compassion, dignity, and holistic care, creating a foundation built on reverence for the dignity of every person and heartfelt service to others.

This strong alignment of values ensures we are united in our mission to provide exceptional care for seniors. With the shared heritage and guiding principles of both the Sisters of the Divine Redeemer and the Sisters of The Redeemer shaping our approach, we look confidently to the future—committed to upholding and advancing our high standards of comfort, healing, and skilled clinical care for every resident.
